Tuesday of Gamma Week

The second day of Gamma Week was raising money for the American Cancer Society. Our event to benefit this philanthropy was selling different colors of cancer ribbons to the students and faculty of the university. There were two days that we sold the ribbons in one of the academic buildings, and students who walked by could make a donation. People made donations by picking the color cancer ribbon they supported. We had colors such as pink (Breast Cancer), gold (Childhood Cancer), Dark Blue (Colon Cancer), Black (Melanoma), White (Lung Cancer), orange (Leukemia ), light blue (Prostate Cancer), emerald green (Liver Cancer ), burgundy (Myeloma ) and lime green (Lymphoma). We wanted to offer an variety of color ribbons to support different people's involvement from that specific cancer. This event had a successful turnout.
